TAESS00013 Enterprise Trainer - Mentoring Skill Set

Course Overview

This course will provide tools for mentors to train, support and coach new or less experienced individuals in achieving the relevant skills required and the confidence to undertake new tasks. It will also assist the mentor to build and support an effective relationship with their mentee.
This skill set provides skills and knowledge for people who work mainly with individuals or small groups.

This course is suitable for anyone who trains and / or supports others in the workplace.
Some of these include supervisors of either new employees, trainees or apprentices. It is also suitable for individuals who can transfer their skills to new or less experienced individuals.
Trainers or support staff who work mainly with individuals or small groups can also benefit from this course.

Units of Competency

The following nationally recognised units are covered in this course:

TAEDEL301 Provide work skill instructions

TAEDEL404 Mentor in the workplace

Either of the above units can be used as credits towards the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or both units can be used as credits towards BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
